Begin by gathering the following supplies, which you probably already have at home:
-white paper
-crayons (yellow, gray, black, and white)
-star stickers
-water colors
Next, have students draw a moon and several curling and swirling lines using the crayons. We found that if you used pressed hard with the crayon, it worked better when adding the watercolors.
After adding the swirling lines, have students add yellow star stickers to their paper.
Finally, add watercolors to create a dramatic effect! I encouraged the girls to create their own interpretation of the painting.
This was really easy and quick!
Be sure to check out Parents website to see the other 4 masterpieces! I think we will give them all a try!
